"Winter Happenings"
Just thought we would take the chance and catch
everybody up on some things that have been happening
around here. First off our newest addition
"Phoenix" is
growing like a weed, she just turned 5 months a couple of
days ago! We are very happy with her build and
temperment, we feel she will be a good addition to this
kennel!

Next we have been training hard for the upcoming races, so
we have been very busy! Plus giving dog sled rides as well.
A few weeks ago we went and ran with Tara Lemieux of
Kazlo Siberians.  That was a very fun day and the view she
has is just amazing! Last weekend we went to Brownville,
Maine and ran with Terry Knowles, Chris Mitchell, Joan
and Gary Chapman. It was a lot of fun to run with other
teams, it gets a little lonely out there when you are always
running by yourself.

Next up the more exciting news, Lily decided to come into
heat FINALLY! So we are hoping for a litter by the end of
March, we will just have to wait and see. The suspense is
killing us though!:)

A lot of the races for this year has been cancelled or
postponed, very weird with how much snow we got so
quickly in December. But I guess you never know!

I am pleased to say that my team has come a long way this
year in training, and the stars of the season are... Kaleeta
and Aryan. They are turning into such great command
leaders! Last weekend was their first time ever head on
passing and they did it like pros!! Very impressed with these
two! Can't wait to see how they do at the races, that will be
the big tests!

Thats all for now! Stay tuned for the race stories!
Happy Trails!
